Information About PDC & Project Requests

The Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) team oversees the development and implementation of projects across campus, ranging from renovations to new construction. Whether your project is big or small, we’re here to help you every step of the way.

To ensure we fully understand your needs and goals, we’ve developed a simple project request form. Submitting this form is the first step toward making your project a reality.

The request form helps us:

  • Understand the scope, timeline, and budget for your project.
  • Identify stakeholders and coordinate resources.
  • Prioritize projects based on institutional goals and funding availability.

The form is designed for faculty, staff, and departments who have:

  • A new project idea.
  • Renovation needs for existing spaces.
  • Requests for design services.
  • Any furniture reconfiguring, purchasing, and installation needs.
  • Space management and planning needs.
  • Questions regarding campus construction and design standards.
  1. Acknowledgment: You’ll receive a confirmation email acknowledging your submission.
  2. Initial Review: Our team will review your request to ensure all necessary details are included.
  3. Follow-Up: We may reach out for more information or to schedule a kickoff meeting.
  4. Next Steps: Once approved, we’ll guide you through the planning and implementation phases.

A Construction project involves creating, modifying, or redesigning physical spaces or systems. This includes tasks such as building new structures, renovating existing ones, or making additions to current facilities. For example, installing a new electrical outlet or replacing an existing one as part of an upgrade is categorized as a Construction project, as it involves changes or enhancements beyond basic repairs.
